Attorney Anna Ortiz of Globe, AZ; slacker, loser

The state of Arizona presented Anna Christina Ortiz with a law license in 1986 after she graduated from the University of Arizona School of Law.

The Arizona State Bar found Anna guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to adequately communicate with her client
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to obtain a written and signed contingent fee agreement involving her client
  • Trial court dismissed client matter due to Anna’s lack of prosecution on client’s behalf
  • Failed to notify her clients of the court’s dismissal of their case
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Anna!)
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Anna by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand and assessed investigative costs of $1,200.00.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Anna practices her so-called brand of law at 390 South Hill Street in Globe, Arizona.
