Attorney Hannah Barrington of Jamaica; ethical troll

The Jamaica Licensing Commission provided Hannah Beatrice Harris Barrington with a law license in 1984.

The Disciplinary Committee of the General Legal Counsel found Hannah guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in character assassination of a respected attorney with 45 years in the profession
• Intentionally sought to soil the good reputation of the long term attorney , had as a deliberate casualty of this a Hannah attacked the integrity of this judicial officer without any foundation or merit whatsoever
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• In her quest to cause damage to persons of high professional standing, Hannah used as a vehicle a member of the public and at first to cowardly hide behind that member of the public before being open about her actions
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Hannah!)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Committee punished Hannah by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license, pay fine of $500,000.00 to the complainant of 467,475.00, and assessed $150,000.00 in investigative costs.

As we speak (ca. September 2023), Hannah practices her so-called brand of law in Kingston, Jamaica.
