Judge Tshifhiwa Maumela of South Africa; moronic slacker

The Law Society of South Africa provided Tshifhiwa Maumela with a law license after he graduated from the University of Venda School of l aw.

FYI: Former President Jacob Zuma was duped into appointing Maumela as a Judge of the North Gauteng High Court, Pretoria, effective from January 30, 2012. Maumela didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Pretoria area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

The Judicial Service Commission recommended to President Ramaphosa that Judge Maumela be suspended for engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to deliver judgment in a timely manner
• Repeatedly failed to deliver reserved judgments
• Engaged in gross incompetence (moron)
• Parties involved in undue delays were prejudiced
• Engaged in gross misconduct

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Judge Maumela by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Service Commission.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Judge Maumela continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence as a judge on the Gauteng High Court bench in Pretoria, South Africa.
