Attorney Aram Bloom of Miami, FL; ethical gnome

The state of California presented Aram Caldarera Bloom with a law license in 2009 after he graduated from Boston University School of Law.

The Florida State Bar found Aram guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Neglected a client’s case
• Failed to communicate with his client
• Failed to apprise client of status of case
• Failed to timely respond to motions or attend hearings
• Misinformed his client about the effect of the court’s ruling
• Aram’s failure to inform client regarding court ruling resulted in $17,000 in court-ordered sanctions being assessed against the client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Leo by gifting him with a complimentary 91-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Leo practices his so-called brand of law with Benitez & Associates at 122 Minorca Avenue in Coral Gables, Florida.
