Attorney Pamela Cerruti of Montclair, NJ; ethical troll

The state of New Jersey presented Pamela Martha Cerruti with a law license in 1988 after she graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Pam guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Counseled or assisted client in conduct that she knew to be fraudulent
  • Failed advise a client of the limitations of the lawyer’s conduct
  • Failed to exercise independent professional judgment and render candid advice to a client
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Was less than candid during the ethics investigation and ethics proceeding (Up yours, said Pam!)
  • Ethics committee found Pam’s testimony not to be credible

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Pam by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Pam practices her so-called brand of law at 52 Fairfield Street in Montclair, New Jersey.
