Attorney Kevin Connell of Rochester, NY; ethical troll

The Law State of New York provided Kevin W. Connell with a law license in after he graduated from the University of School of Law.

The Appellate Division Disciplinary Panel found Kevin guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Kevin!)
• Kevin’s firm hired him to represent a female client in a landlord-tenant matter
• After the case was resolved, Kevin and the client engaged in a consensual sexual relationship that concluded in May 2021
• In July 2021, Kevin accessed the law firm’s computerized records and intentionally deleted the law firm’s electronic file pertaining to the client’s landlord-tenant matter
• On several occasions during the grievance investigation, Kevin made to the Grievance Committee false or misleading written and oral statements concerning the nature of his relationship with the client and his deletion of the electronic file
• During the time Kevin was involved with the client, he sent to the client from his law office text messages with attached explicit pictures and video recordings
• Engaged in conduct that adversely reflects on his fitness as a lawyer
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Appellate Division Disciplinary Panel punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Kevin practices his so-called brand of law at 2 State Street in Rochester in , New York.
