Attorney Andrea Richard of Jackson, WY; ethical troll

The state of Montana presented Andrea L. Richard with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Wyoming School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel of Montana (ODC) found Andrea guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Violated various provisions of the Wyoming Rules of Professional Conduct in seven (7) different litigation cases
  • Pursued claims that lacked merit [frivolous]
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Failed to act fairly to opposing party and counsel
  • Failed to act with decorum when dealing with trial court judge
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Made misrepresentations concerning discovery and other matters
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Montana Supreme Court punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2023), Andrea practices her so-called brand of law in Jackson, Montana.
