Judge Robin McCroskey of Newport, WA; scofflaw

The state of Colorado presented Robin McCroskey with a law license in 1999 after she graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law.

The Board of Pend Oreille County Commissioners were duped into appointing Robin as a District Court Judge in 2018. Robin didn’t receive the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the Pend Oreille County area. She received it because she had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

The Oregon Commission on Judicial Fitness and Disability found Robin guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw)
• Engaged in prohibited fundraising
• Abused the prestige of her judicial office by promoting advertisements for those businesses on her social media page, which identifies her as a judge
• On her GoFundMe Post, Robin shared her Facebook page a “GoFundMe1” account which stated it was to “Help (name not disclosed) cover her medical expenses!”
• Robin also created a post which included a photo of an arm with a bracelet and sweater and text which read, “It is awesome to be able to wear local purchases from years ago and know they are still in business!!!!
• Abused the prestige of HER judicial office to advance the economic interest of others
• Improperly shared sharing a 'GoFundMe' account on her Facebook page
• Robin’s Facebook page clearly identified her as a district court judge
• In her Facebook posts, Robin appeared to solicit money and other posts that appeared to promote or advertise specific local businesses

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Robin by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

30-day suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (ca. July 2023), Robin continues to dispense her so-called idea of jurisprudence as a Pend Orielle County District Court Judge in Newport, Oregon.
