Attorney Roger Phillips of Concord, NH; ethical goblin

The state of New Hampshire presented Roger B. Phillips with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from Suffolk University of School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Roger guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with candor in dealing with a tribunal
  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to review trust account records on a monthly basis

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Conduct Committee punished Roger by gifting him with complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2023), Roger practices his so-called brand of law with the Phillips Law Office PLLC at 104 Pleasant Street in Concord, New Hampshire.
