Judge Kathleen Delaney of Las Vegas, NV; imbecilic slacker

The state of Nevada presented Steven J. Szostek with a law license in 1990 after she graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law.

The Nevada Commission on Judicial Discipline found Kathy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to perform administrative duties competently (imbecile)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw)
• Failed to issue a final decision in a case submitted to her for almost three (3) years
• During three-year period of time, failed to timely issue decisions in six (6) cases that were submitted to her for decisions
• In late 2021, Kathy filed decisions in several cases which were pending for over three years

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Kathy by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2023), Kathy continues to dispense her so-called idea of jurisprudence when she determines she has the time to so act as a District Court Judge, Eight Judicial District Court, Clark County in Las Vegas, Nevada.
