Former Judge Joseph Lodge of Flagstaff, AZ; ethical gremlin

The state of Arizona presented Joseph Lodge with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law.

The Judicial Commission found Joey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which occurred while he was sitting as a Coconino County Superior Court judge.

  • Failed to avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety
  • Failed to perform his judicial duties fairly and impartially
  • Failed to act in manner promoting public confidence in the judiciary
  • Failed to be patient, dignified, and courteous towards those appearing before him
  • Conducted a court proceeding under the influence of alcohol

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2023) Joey practices his so-called brand of law with the Law Office of Joe Lodge at 823 North San Francisco Street in Flagstaff, Arizona.
