Former Judge Louise Tesmer of Greendale, WI; ethical troll

The state of Wisconsin presented Louise M. Tesmer with a law license in 1967 after she graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Law.

The Wisconsin Judicial Commission found Louise guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while she was sitting as a Milwaukee County Circuit Court judge.

  • Engaged in persistent discussions of dispositive motions in cases pending before her with a person unconnected with the judicial system
  • Used the assistance of disinterested person in pending matters to draft opinions in those matters that violated the prohibition of private communications designed to influence a judge's decision
  • Louie’s assistance from the disinterested person  and her friend's participation in the preparation of opinions continued for three years, over which time her friend drafted opinions in at least 32 cases
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Permitted on an aggravated or persistent basis private communications designed to influence her judicial decision

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Louise by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

It should also be noted that the Wisconsin Court System attorney search website conceals Louise’s misconduct by falsely stating: “Discipline History: There is currently no public disciplinary history for this attorney.”

Apparently, concealing from public searches on its website, the Wisconsin Court System has determined that it will not disclose misconduct meted out to Wisconsin Judges. On the other hand, the same courtesy is not afforded to attorneys disciplined for engaging in misconduct.

As we speak (ca. July 2023), Louise practices her so-called brand of law at 8875 Woodbridge Drive in Greendale, Wisconsin.
