Solicitor Malcolm Serman of New South Wales; ethical troll

The Law Society presented Malcolm Serman with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Dalhousie University School of Law.

The Queensland Civil and Administrative found Malcolm guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in unsatisfactory Professional Conduct
• Made a statutory declaration which he knew or ought to have known contained false statements
• Lodged an extinguishment application on behalf of his clients which he knew or ought to have known had no proper basis
• Failed to respond to proper requests for information.
• Provided misleading information
• Failed to provide proper responses to correspondence

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Queensland Bar punished Malcolm by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2023), Malcolm practices his brand of law with Serman and Associates at 8-50 Birriga Road in Bellevue Hill, New South Wales.
