Solicitor Michael Simone of New South Wales; repeat offender

 

The Law Society presented Michael Simone with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Dalhousie University School of Law.

 

The Queensland Civil and Administrative found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

 

Mikey’s 1st bite at the Solicitor Misfit Apple Tree

  • Acted in the face of a conflict of interests
  • Failed to provide costs disclosure
  • Negligent in failing to provide information to Court for 7 months
  • Engaged in unsatisfactory Professional Conduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Queensland Bar punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Mikey’s 2nd bite at the Solicitor Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to appear when required to so act
  • Failure to follow instructions
  • Engaged in unsatisfactory Professional Conduct
  • Engaged in gross negligence
  • Engaged in several conflict of interests

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Queensland Bar punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

As we speak (ca. June 2023), Mikey practices his brand of law with Simone Legal at 447 Victoria Street in Wetherill Park, New South Wales.
