Judge Casey Stokes of Georgetown, TN; bullying loser

The State of Tennessee provided Casey Mark Stokes with a law license in 2006 after he graduated from the Nashville School of Law.

The Board of Judicial Conduct found Casey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Addressed Ronald Satterfield, a litigant appearing before him by calling him a “tough guy”
and said he hoped he would run into someone like him one day
  • Also told Satterfield that “if somebody called his grandfather a SOB we would be in more than a cuss fight, we would be in a fist fight, and probably to death”
  • Casey mocked Satterfield’s wife’s disability by impersonating her movements and told his daughter to “shut up” as the daughter was trying to explain her mother’s neurological disability and thus the reason for her uncontrolled hand and arm movements
  • Failed to maintain high standards of conduct and
  • Failed to act dignified and courteous to those whom he dealt with in his judicial capacity

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Board of Judicial Conduct punished Casey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2023), Casey continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence as a Meigs County General Sessions Court Judge in Georgetown, Tennessee.
