Attorney Stephen Parks of Dover, NH; ethical elf

The state of New Hampshire presented Stephen P. Parks with a law license after he graduated from Suffolk University School of Law.

FYI: Suffolk University is ranked as the 159th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Stevie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Committed criminal act adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Charged with indirect criminal contempt
  • Stevie pled guilty to recklessly creating a breach of peace, public inconvenience, annoyance or alarm, by disrupting the lawful order of business of the Dover Police Department, after being told to desist
  • Failed to turn over to the Dover Police all firearms in his control after being served with a temporary protective order in regard to a dispute with his then landlord

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Conduct Committee punished Stevie by gifting him with complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Professional Conduct Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Stevie.

As we speak (ca. June 2023), Stevie practices his so-called brand of law with Parks Doherty PLLC at 383 Central Avenue in Dover, New Hampshire.
