Judge Zoe Forrester of Sedan, KS; ethical elf

The state of Kansas provided Zoe Forrester Newton with a law license in 2009 after she graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law.

The Kansas Commission on Judicial Conduct found Zoe guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was engaged as a candidate for a judicial position on the Sedgwick County District Court.

• Failed to uphold the highest standards of integrity and honesty in all maters, including election to office
• Failed to refrain from making statements omitting facts necessary to make the communication considered as a whole not materially misleading
• Failed to be scrupulously accurate in all her campaign representations

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the comedians sitting on the Judicial Conduct Commission punished Zoe by gifting her with a complimentary cease and desist order.  

As we speak (ca. June 2023), Zoe practices her so-called brand of law with Chautauqua County at 215 North Chautauqua in Sedan, Kansas.
