DA Jason Williams of New Orleans, LA; indicted tax cheat

The state of Louisiana provided with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Tulane University School of Law.

In one matter, a federal grand jury indicted Jason for engaging in the following criminal conduct

  • Charged with an 11-count federal indictment claiming he conspired inflate Williams' business expenses by more than $700,000 over five tax years, ending in 2017
  • Charged five counts of tax fraud
  • Charged with five counts of failing to file the proper forms for large cash receipts

All that remains now is to see how long it takes for Jason to cop a plea to reduce the amount of time he’ll be spending in Leavenworth.

As we speak (ca. June 2023), Jason continues to be employed as Orleans Parish District Attorney in New Orleans, Louisiana.
