Attorney Jason Janoski of Wichita, KS; twice convicted wife beater

The state of Kansas presented Jason Michael Janoski with a law license in 2010 after he graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Jason’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary censure for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

The Kansas Disciplinary Board found Jason guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Convicted twice of domestic battery
• Jason’s testimony that he completed the deferred judgment regarding the domestic battery convictions was deceptive
• Jason’s children and stepchildren were vulnerable to the respondent's misconduct
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Failed to file an affidavit of compliance with terms of his probation plan
• Pursued claims that were no meritorious
• Failed to act fairly in dealing with opposing party and counsel
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Improperly communicated with person he knew to be represented by counsel
• Misconduct involved multiple violations

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Jason by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

 As we speak (ca. May 2023), Jason practices his so-called brand of law with Davis Business Law at 151 South Whittier Street in Wichita, Kansas.
