Attorney Suzanne Abel of Carlisle, PA; convicted of assault

The state of Pennsylvania provided Suzanne Spencer Abel with a law license in 2006 after she graduated from Western Michigan's Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Suzie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which involved Suzie’s ongoing controversy with a neighbor.

  • Suzie drove her car approximately 4/10th of a mile down the neighborhood road with the neighbor clinging to the windshield of her vehicle
  • Suzie’s vehicle struck the front end of a police vehicle that was responding to the scene
  • Subsequently, a seven count Information was filed in the Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas charging Petitioner with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, driving on roadways laned for traffic, careless driving, and reckless driving
  • Following a jury trial in the Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas, Suzie was convicted of recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, driving on roadways laned for traffic and careless driving. Petitioner was acquitted of aggravated assault and reckless driving

As direct a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Suzie by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2024), Suzie practices her so-called brand of law with Andrews Johnson & brought at 78 West Pomfret Street in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
