Judge R. Douglas Hoffman of Robbinsville, NJ; ethical leprechaun

Unfortunately, the state of New Jersey provided R. Douglas Hoffman with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from St. John’s School of Law.

The Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct found Doug guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Made inappropriate sexual advances towards a subordinate
• Became close with a Robbinsville violations clerk,
• In October 2022, the subordinate met Doug at his beach house and had a number of drinks with him, after which Hoffman allegedly touched L.W.’s knee and upper thigh without her consent
• The subordinate quickly left, and shortly afterwards reported the incident to her supervisor and to Robbinsville’s human resources department
• Demeaned his judicial office in providing alcohol with a subordinate employee
• Failed to observe high standards of conduct
• Failed to preserve the integrity and independence of the Judiciary
• Failed to avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety
• Failed to act in a manner that promotes public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the Judiciary

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Judge Semaj by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. April 2023), Judge Hoffman continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence as a Judge of the Robbinsville Municipal Court in Robbinsville, New Jersey.
