Attorney Sia Lo of St. Paul, MN; cheating loser

The state of Minnesota presented Sia Lo with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Hamline University School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Sia guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to advise client of the risks and alternatives to an arbitration agreement within the fee agreement
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to promptly provide client with accounting of fees paid
  • Improperly charged his client for work performed on the client’s matter after he was terminated
  • Illegally charged his client for time spent responding to the client’s ethics complaint (cheater)
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Sia!)
  • Maintained false and/or misleading information on his law firm website

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished

Sia by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed him $900 in investigative costs.

As we speak (ca. April 2023), Sia practices his so-called brand of law at 3252 Rice Street in St. Paul, Minnesota.
