Former Judge John Scipione of Centennial, CO; adulterous loser
The State of Colorado provided John E. Scipione with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of the Colorado School of Law.
The Colorado Commission on Judicial Discipline found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
-
Failed to disclose an extramarital affair with a clerk
-
Faced a sexual harassment complaint
-
Referred to a second judicial assistant “using a derogatory term”
-
Openly discussed his involvement in an ‘alternative lifestyle”
-
On at least three (3) occasions, Johnny used his position as a judicial officer to seek intimate relationships with Judicial Department employees or court personnel
-
He did not disclose the affair when the applied to become a district judge, a failure to comply with court standards and procedures.
-
Johnny admitted to knowingly engaging in conduct that violated Judicial Canon Rules
-
Johnny contacted another judge and that judge’s probate clerk in a different jurisdiction to seek favorable treatment in probate proceedings involving his father’s estate
-
Failed to maintain the dignity of judicial office at all times
-
Failed to avoid both impropriety and the appearance of impropriety
Rather than await a decision that likely would have led to him being tossed off the bench, Johnny did was any cowardly Judicial Misfit would do, he resigned.
As we speak (ca. February 2023), it is rumored that Johnny has an application pending as bathroom attendant at Shotgun Willie’s Strip club at 490 South Colorado Blvd in Denver, Colorado.
