Judicial Candidate Elissa Wev of Dallas, TX; charged with attacking former

 girlfriend

The State of Texas provided Elissa Marie Wev with a law license in 2013 after she graduated from the University of Texas School of Law.

FYI: At or near the time of the incidents set forth below, Elissa was a candidate for Dallas County judicial family violence court. I suppose if she did win, she may have been in a position to sit in judgment of herself.

  • Eli was charged with family violence
  • Eli turned herself into jail
  • Accused of attacking her former girlfriend
  • Attempted to grab the girlfriend's phone and find out if she was cheating on her
  • The girlfriend told police that she was attacked as Eli packed to move after the two ended their long-term relationship
  • The girlfriend claimed that Eli tackled her and chased her into the bathroom, where she tackled her again
  • Eli is alleged to have pinned her former girlfriend to the ground and pressed her head against a heater
  • Eli tried to break a glass door using a broom to get into the room where her former girlfriend was hiding

All that remains now is to see how long it takes for Eli to cop a plea in order to reduce the amount of time she may have to spend in prison.

As we speak (ca. February 2023), Eli is employed by the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office as an associate District Attorney.
