Judge Donald Middlebrooks of West Palm Beach, FL; one of the good guys

The state of  Florida provided Donald M. Middlebrooks with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Law.

In one matter, Judge Middlebrooks presided over a sham case brouth by President Donald Trump in a conspiracy lawsuit against Hillary Clinton and several others.

In dismissing the case, Judge Middlebrooks made the following statements.

  • Every claim in the lawsuit was frivolous (aka, BS)
  • The lawsuit was filed to pursue a political agenda
  • The only common thread against the defendants was “Trump’s animus.”
  • These were political grievances masquerading as legal claims
  • The lawsuit wasperformative litigation for purposes of fundraising and political statements
  • The conduct of Trump and his lawyers reflects their cavalier attitude towards facts demonstrated throughout the case

As a direct consequence of the egregious misconduct of Trump lawyers (aka, bumbling bufoons), Alina Habba, Michael T. Madaio, Peter Ticktin, Jamie Alan Sasson, Habba Madaio & Associates and the Ticktin Law Group, Judge Middlebrook ordered that they pay a pay a $50,000 fine and more than $16,000 in legal fees to defendant Charles Dolan.

Judge Middlebrook, stated he would address further sanctions and legal fees in favor of one or more of the remaining forty or so defendants who were subjected to the sham claims of Trump and the clownish attorneys he employed.

Kudos to Judge Middlebrook for having the courage to let it be known that he will not allow his court to be used as a forum for Trump to engage in the egregious misconduct and tomfoolery aforementioned.

As we speak (ca. February 2023), Judge Middlebrook continues to dispense justice as a U.S. District Court judge in West Palm Beach, Florida.
