State Rep. Ann Kelly (R-MO): Todays “Imbecile” Award Winner

Annie succeeded in duping the voters in Barton and Dale Counties, and portions of Jasper and Cedar Counties into electing her as a member of the Missouri House of Representatives in 2018. Annie’s husband, Mikey, previously held the seat for eight years.

In one matter, Annie the Imbecile introduced legislation requiring women to wear jackets, which included blazers and knit blazers with their outfits.

The dress code amendment, proposed by state Rep. Ann Kelley (R), requires women to wear jackets, which includes “blazers and knit blazers,” with their outfits.

This asinine and laughable legislation would force female legislators and/or staff members to cover their arms so that ostensibly neither arm would be visible to the male horndogs in the legislature.

Compare Annie’s nonsensical rule prohibiting bare arms in the legislature to Missouri’s law allowing for semi-nude dancers to remain on a stage as long as the customers remain 6 feet from the dancer. Put simply, a female entertainer baring her breasts and wearing a G-string in public is acceptable. Isn’t Missouri a Great Country?

And lastly, it appears that Missouri’s state motto “The Show me State”did not include allowing women to show off their bare arms in public.

As we speak (ca. February 2023), Annie the Imbecile continues to provide useless services to her constituents in the greater Barton and Dale Counties, and portions of Jasper and Cedar Counties.
