The State of Oregon presented Hunter C. Tonry with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from Seattle University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Jessie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Borrowed $12,000 and another $24,623 from her client
• The terms of the loans were not fair or reasonable to the client
• The $12,000 loan was not secured by collateral
• The $24,623 loan did not provide for late fees in the event of default
• Jessica failed to obtain in writing her client’s informed consent to the essential terms of either loan

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Jessica by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2023), Jessica practices her so-called brand of law Cain Law Company PC at 605 SE 2^nd Street in Newport, Oregon.
