Attorney Lihuei Mao of Taiwan; deadbeat loser

The state of New York presented Lihuei Mao with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Georgetown University School of Law.

The First Department Grievance Committee found Mao guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to comply with mandatory biennial attorney registration
• Failed to pay biennial attorney registration fee of $375 (a measly $187.50 a year)
• Eddy failed to pay register and pay the mandatory fee even after he was notified and given an opportunity to cure his default

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Mao by gifting him with a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2023), Mao practices his so-called brand of law with at 4F, No. 3, Alle 57, Lane a6, Shien-Yen Road in Taipei, Taiwan.
