Attorney James Tschudy of Portland, OR; repeat offender

The State of Oregon provided James R. Tschudy with a law license in 2014 after he graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law.

FYI: This wasn’t Jimmy’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

The Oregon State Bar Disc found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected client legal matter
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to promptly comply with client information requests
  • Failed to include required information in fee agreement involve fees denominated as nonrefundable
  • Failed to deposit client funds into a trust account

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2023), Jimmy practices his so-called brand of law with the Law Office of James R Tschudy PC at 1020 SW Taylor Street in Portland, Oregon.
