Judge John Aronian of North Salem, NY; ethical troll

The state of New York provided John M. Aronianwith a law license in 2004 after he graduated from Pace University School of Law.

The New York Commission on Judicial Conduct found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct involving his handling of two child welfare cases.

  • Allowed personal relationships to color his conduct or lend the prestige of his office to advance the private interests of others
  • Prepared and submitted character reference letters, which invoked his judicial title, in support of pistol license applications filed in County Court, Westchester County, by Susan Koch and Daniel Koch
  • Johnny wrote a letter on his judicial stationery to County Court Judge Susan Cacace, requesting that she reconsider her denial of Susan Koch’s pistol license application
  • Acted in a manner that was inconsistent with his obligations to maintain high standards of conduct
  • Failed to act at all times in a manner that promotes public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary
  • Johnny lent the prestige of his judicial office to advance his private interests or that of others

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Juridical Conduct Commission punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. January 2023), Johnny continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence as a Justice of the North Salem Town Court, Westchester County
