Attorney Richard Vapnar of Maywood, NJ; lying loser

The state of New Jersey presented Richard Joseph Vapnar with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Todd also received a license to practice in New York in 2001.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Dick guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in gross neglect of client matters
  • Knowingly made a false statement in connection with a disciplinary matter (Screw you, said Dick!)
  • Failed to explain matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make an informed decision regarding the representation
  • Lacked candor toward a tribunal
  • Made a false statement of material fact or law to a third person
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary -year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2022), Dick practices his so-called brand of law at 525 Palmer Avenue in Maywood, New Jersey.
