Attorney Brian McDevitt of Norristown, PA; ethical troll

The state of Pennsylvania presented Brian McDevitt with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from New York University (NYU) School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Brian guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Counseled or assisted that Brian knew was illegal, criminal, or fraudulent
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Lacked candor in dealing with a tribunal
  • Made a false statement of material fact of law to a third person
  • Knowingly made a false statement of material fact in connection with a disciplinary matter
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2022), Brian practices his so-called brand of law with Fox, Differ, Callahan, Sheridan & McDevitt at 325 Swede Street in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
