Attorney John Murray Jr. of Washington DC; ethical dwarf

The state of New Jersey presented John J. Murray Jr. with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from American University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in recordkeeping violations
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Johnny!)
• Involved in an overdraft of his attorney trust account

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.  

As we speak (ca. December 2022), Johnny practices his so-called brand of law as Counsel at Williams & Connolly LLP in Washington, DC.
