Attorney Mark Bennett of Westlake, OH; pervert

The state of Ohio presented Mark Stewart Bennett with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Cleveland State University School of Law.

The Ohio Board of Professional Conduct is investigating Mark for engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as an Assistant U.S. Attorney working in Cleveland and Akron.

• Mark tried to look under the woman’s skirt
• Mark made sexually inappropriate comments about her to others in the office
• Mark talked to her about his sex life
• Mark asked about her sex life and suggested he could be her sexual partner
• Mark also requested via SnapChat nude photos of the woman
• While in the U.S. attorney’s office in Akron, Mark asked for a copy of the 2015 federal sentencing guidelines, reached across her body and touched the woman’s breasts with the back of his hand
• Mark held his hand there while making and holding eye contact with the woman
• Mark removed his hand when another attorney walked in the room.
• He also offered to buy her clothes from Victoria’s Secret, J.Crew and Brooks Brothers
• When the woman sought a clerkship position, Mark asked what she was willing to do for a letter of recommendation from him for the job

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Mark by the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oho Supreme Court.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Mark fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.bennettlegalfirm.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.
