Attorney Gregory Carter of Newark, OH; ethical gremlin

The state of Ohio presented Gregory Erwin Carter with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Cleveland State University School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel found Greg guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct that constitutes fraud, deceit, misrepresentation, or dishonesty
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Represented a client when Greg’s personal interests limited his ability to carry out appropriate action for the client
  • Continued representation of a client that involved a conflict of interest
  • Failed to obtain a waiver from the client regarding an ongoing conflict of interest
Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Greg by the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oho Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. December 2022), Greg practices his so-called brand of law with the Carter Law Offices at 35 South Park Place in Newark, Ohio.
