Solicitor Harold Joseph of Scotland; ethical misfit

The Law Society presented Harold William Joseph with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the University of Glasgow School of Law.

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Harry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in professional misconduct
  • Harry’s trust account failed to comply with account rules for three years
  • Despite having ample opportunity to resolve trust account failures, Harry failed to do so
  • Signed account certificates which he did not know were accurate
  • Failed to comply with various Practice Rules

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Harry by gifting her with a complimentary censure and imposed a fine of £1,000.

As we speak (ca. December 2022), Harry practices her so-called brand of law at 54 Carlton Place in Glasgow, Scotland.
