Attorney Robert Cossey of Spokane, WA; slacker, loser

The State of Washington presented Robert R. Cossey with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from the University of Washington School of Law.

The Washington State Bar found Bobby guilty of engaging in the following misconduct. 

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to adequately supervise office staff
• Failed to make reasonable efforts to ensure that the nonlawyer employee’s conduct is compatible with the professional obligations of the lawyer
• Failed to hold a lawyer responsible for the conduct of a nonlawyer assistant that would be a violation of the ethical, rules if engaged in by a lawyer in circumstances where the lawyer orders or ratifies the conduct or fails to take reasonable remedial action

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.   

And lastly, as one would suspect, Bobby fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.robertcossey.com. Apparently, Jimmy decided to conceal this relevant information from his prospective clients so that it would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. December 2022), Bobby practices his so-called brand of law with Robert R Cossey & Associates PS at 902 North Monroe Street in Spokane, Washington.
