Judge Anne Norrdin of Glenwood Springs, CO; incompetent boob

The state of Colorado provided Anne Kirkpatrick Norrdin with a law license in 2005 after she graduated from the University of Oregon School Of Law.

FYI: Former Gov. John Hickenlooper was duped into appointing Anne as a 9^th District Court judge in 2016. Anne didn’t receive the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the greater Breckenridge area. She received it because she had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

It should be noted that Anne has had her significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past seventeen (17) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Glenwood Springs area was about to offer her a good paying job.

The Colorado Court of Appeals found Anne guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Improperly imposed a $50 fine on a mother for failing to follow a court order and arrange summer tutoring for her daughter
• The mother could not possibly have complied with Anne’s order because there was nothing she could do to fix the problem at the time Anne unlawfully held her in contempt
• Remedial contempt is not properly applied in this matter

As a direct consequence of her incompetence, the Court of Appeals reversed her asinine order finding the mother in contempt.

As we speak (ca. December 2022), Anne continues to practice her so-called idea of jurisprudence as a 9^th District Court Judge in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
