Attorney Douglas Snyder of Portland, OR; dimwitted liar

The State of Oregon presented Douglas S. Snyder with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Williamette University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Doug guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Failed to provide competent representation (dimwit)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Doug!)
• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to comply with court order to prepare judgment of marriage dissolution (Up yours, said Doug!)
• Despite warning from court that client’s case would be dismissed for want of prosecution, Dough took no action, and the client’s case was dismissed
• Lied to client that settlement check had been received by him when in fact it had not
• Failed to accept settlement offer on client’s behalf in a timely manner

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Doug by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2022), Doug practices his brand of law at 406 North Lombard Street in Portland, Oregon.
