Attorney Sanford Kutner of Tulsa, OK; cheating slacker

The state of Oklahoma presented Sanford A. Kutner with a law license in 1970 after he graduated from Tulane University School of Law.

The Oklahoma Bar Association found Sanford guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to promptly notify State Bar of disciplinary proceeding in Louisiana
  • Stopped communicating with his client even though the client had paid him several thousand dollars
  • Client matter dismissed due to Sanford’s failure to obtain service of the lawsuit on the defendants
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client reasonably informed of the status of the case
  • Failed to comply with client information requests
  • Failed to return unearned fees upon being terminated (cheater)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oklahoma Supreme Court punished Sanford by gifting him with a complimentary 180-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2022), Sanford practices his so-called brand of law at 510 South Elgin Avenue in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
