Attorney Philip A. Goiran of Boulder, CO; convicted pugilist
The state of Colorado provided Philip Alexander Goiran with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from American University Law School.
Disciplinary Counsel found Philip guilty of the following misconduct.
Philip pleaded guilty to third-degree assault. One element of the crime was knowingly and recklessly causing bodily injury to another person.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Philip by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 60-day suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians on the Supreme Court didn’t really punish Philip in any meaningful way.
I suppose the good folks in Boulder can take comfort in knowing that there’s another criminal with a law license running amuck in their area.
As we speak (ca. June 2012) Philip practices law with Johnson & Repucci LLP at 2521 Broadway in Boulder, Colorado.
