Judge Jenifer Howson of Mount Vernon, WA; ignoramus slacker

The state of Washington presented Jennifer G. Howson with a law license in 1978 after she graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

The Judicial Commission found Joan guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

FYI: The Skagit County Board of Commissioners was duped into appointing Jenny as Skagit County District Court judge on November 25, 2020. Jenny didn’t receive the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the greater Skagit County area. She received it because she had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

The Washington Commission on Judicial Conduct found Jenny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act in manner promoting public confidence in the judiciary
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw)
  • Failed to avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety
  • Failed to perform judicial and administrative duties competently (moron)
  • Failed to take reasonable measures to ensure that court officials, litigants, and their lawyers cooperated with her in the performance of her judicial duties
  • Failed to devote adequate time to judicial duties
  • Failed to be punctual in attending court and expeditious in determining matters under submission
  • Did not issue decision after March 2020 trial until February 2022
  • Did not issue decision after November 2020 trial until March2021
  • Did not issue decision after January 2021 trial until February 2022

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Jenny by gifting her with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. November 2022), Jenny continues to practice her so-called brand of jurisprudence as Judge of the Skagit County District Court in Mount Vernon, Washington.
