Judge Mark Thompson of Breckenridge, CO; convict 

The state of Colorado presented Mark D. Thompson with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the University of Denver School of Law.

FYI: Former Gov. Bill Ritter was duped into appointing Mark as a District Court judge in 2010. Mark didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Breckenridge area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

The Judicial Disciplinary Commission found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.

• After a confrontation with his stepson at his home, Mark removed an AR-15 from his gun safe and pointed it at his stepson
• Mark was initially charged with felony menacing
• He later pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct for recklessly displaying a deadly weapon in a manner calculated to alarm
• Mark has been engaged in anger and stress management since July 2021 thru August 2022

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension from the bench without pay.

As we speak (ca. October 2022), Mark practices her so-called brand of jurisprudence as a 5^th Judicial District Court judge in Breckenridge, Colorado.
