Former Court Commissioner Harry Slusher of Kirkland, WA; ethical troll

The state of Colorado provided Harry Richard Slusher with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law.

The Commission on Judicial Conduct found Harry guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Maintained an undisclosed social relationship with a witness for a party in a matter pending before him
  • Engaged in conduct reflecting an appearance of impropriety
  • While presiding over a custody case, Harry appointed Dr. Natalie Novick as a therapist
  • for the child in the case
  • During subsequent proceedings in custody case, Harry considered and acted upon recommendations of Dr. Novick, including orders regarding custodial placement of the child
  • Harry failed to disclose to the parties the fact that
  • he had a social relationship with Dr. Novick

Rather than impose any sanctions on Harry, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court allowed him to resign from his position as s Commissioner of the King County Superior Court.

As we speak (ca. October 2022), Harry practices his so-called idea of the law at 411 Market Street in Kirkland, Washington.
