Attorney James Cottrell of Champaign, IL; cheating loser

The state of Illinois presented James Douglas Cottrell with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Drake University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Commission found Jimmy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Converted $2,90-2.34 in trust account funds for personal or business use (cheater)
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Jimmy by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. October 2022), Jimmy practices his so-called brand of law with James D. Cottrell Law Office PC at P.C. at 505 West University Avenue in Champaign, Illinois.
