Attorney Lee Campbell of Lincolnshire, IL; slacker, loser

The state of Illinois presented Lee Alan Campbell with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from the University of Illinois School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Commission found Lee guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Made misrepresentations to his client
• Failed to comply with discovery deadlines
• Failure to attend court on client’s behalf led to client case being dismissed
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
• Lied to clients that medical malpractice suit was pending after the court dismissed it due to Lee’s gross negligence
• Attempted to settle malpractice claim with an unrepresented client
• Failed to advise unrepresented client that she should seek independent legal advice

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Lee by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. September 2022), Lee practices his so-called brand of law at 175 Olde Half Day Road in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
