Attorney Richard Dietz of Detroit, MI; drunken convict

The state of Michigan presented Richard A. Dietz with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Detroit School of Law.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #15 found Dick guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Convicted of driving under the influence (DUI)
  • Engaged in conduct that was in violation of a criminal law of a state or of the United States
  • Engaged in conduct that was prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Michigan Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed costs of $750.00.

As we speak (ca. September 2022), Dick practices his so-called brand of law at 14350 Harbor Island in Detroit, Michigan.
