Attorney Henri Cosey of Sugar Land, TX; ethical gremlin

The state of Texas provided Henri M. Cosey with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Texas Southern University School of Law.

The District 5 Grievance Committee found Hank guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to keep his client reasonably informed about the status of the matter
  • Failed to comply with reasonable client requests for information.
  • Failed to promptly notify client of receipt of funds owing to the client
  • Failed to promptly render a full accounting of client funds he received

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the Texas Supreme Court punished Hank gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license and ordered him to pay $1,500.00 in investigative costs.

As we speak (ca. September 2022), Hank practices his so-called brand of law at 2245 Texas Drive in Sugar Land, Texas.
