Judge Marie Ward of Albuquerque, NM; ethical misfit

The state of New Mexico presented Marie Ward with a law license in 2002 after she graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law.

FYI: Former Gov. Susana Martinez was duped into appointing Marie as a Bernalillo County District Court judge in 2014. Marie didn’t receive the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the greater Albuquerque area. She received it because she had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

The 2022 retention evaluation conducted by the New Mexico Judicial Performance Evaluation Commission as to the qualifications for the retention of Judge Ward to remain as a Bernalillo County 2nd Judicial District Children’s Court judge.

The scoring below came about from scores from attorneys and court staff as to various categories.

Attorney Voting

  • Fair and Impartial = 27% disagree

Court Staff Voting

  • Exhibits integrity = 24% disagree
  • Fair and Impartial = 36% disagree
  • Communication is clear = 24% disagree
  • Appropriate demeanor = 21% disagree
  • Properly controls proceedings = 21% disagree

Voting to Not Retain Judge Schultz

  • 27% of Attorneys voted to Not Retain Judge Ward
  • 41% of Court Staff voted to Not Retain Judge Ward

As we speak (ca. March 2022), Marie continues to dispense her so-called idea of jurisprudence as a Bernalillo County 2nd Judicial District Children’s Court judge in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
