Attorney Lara Gardner of Portland, OR; ethical misfit

The State of Oregon presented Lara M. Gardner with a law license in 2003 after she graduated from the Lewis & Clark School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Lara guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Violated her duty to maintain her personal integrity
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Lara’s conduct caused actual harm to her client

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Lara by gifting her with a complimentary 150-day suspension of her law license.

And lastly, Lara fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on her self-serving website at www.crlawgroup.com. Apparently, Lara decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that she would not limit her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. August 2022), Lara practices her so-called brand of law with the Columbia River Law Group at 10121 SE Sunnyside Road in Portland, Oregon.
